Ressu’s day

Ressu’s day is celebrated annually in the middle of January. The school’s doors are open to visitors during the festive week. On Ressu’s day the students have time in the afternoon to collect stamps from various activities for example karaoke, Alias, prose and lyric, arts, fantasy games, plays, chess and a floor ball tournament. The week culminates to a gala where the schedule has been as so:

• Music Performances
• The Announcing of the Honour Ressu
• The Speech of the Honour Ressu
• Distinctions
• Cocktail Party in the Cafeteria

Annual meeting

The annual meeting of the association is held according to the rules before the end of March. To this day it has always been held at the school. The themes to be handled are set by the rules of the association.

Competitions’ Day

The Competitions’ Day is an event in which the students compete in various sports between the teams of Ressu and Norssi. Most of the teams consist of new students, but also former students may have their own. The traditional culmination is the rowing competition against Norssi.

Studia Ressu

Studia Ressu is an interesting lecture held at the school for students and members. Typically the lecturer is a graduated student from Ressu who tells the students of his work from some current section of the job markets.

Porridge Feast

The Porridge Feast is a yearly event at the school organized by Koti- ja Kouluyhdistys. There is program by students and Christmas porridge for a small fee. Usually the school’s doors are open for visitors on the same day so that parents and former students have a chance to visit lessons. The Porridge Feast is held in November or December.
